4" x 6" acrylic and gouache on fiberboard. This is Guacamole, the opossum who has moved into my fancy feral cat house complete with ramp and insulation and purple walls. They say opossums only stay a day or 2 but he has been here for months. It forced me to build another cat house for the poor stray cats and they didnt get to have purple walls cause I had to make it in freezing weather. He also falls asleep with his tail hanging out the door. Now there is another opossum squeezed in there and we hear them arguing all the time. " Move OVER!" " No YOU MOVE OVER!!" " Stop touching me!" " No YOU STOP TOUCHING ME!" " Why dont you shut up?" "WHY dont YOU SHUT UP!" "Who said you could bring that plastic bag in here!!!" " Who said you could bring that plastic tape in here!" The arguing is LOUD and happens often. The opossum also steps on the metal food bowl if it is empty, and it makes a loud cymbal noise, we are expecting to have it crash through our window one day.
